Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey distributed State government schemes among beneficiaries on the Bedo and Itki block office premises. On this occasion, Tirkey said that the coalition government in the state does not distribute schemes on the basis of caste, religion and language, but works to give benefits of the scheme to the needy people and wipe the tears of the people. The goal of the government is to strengthen the people of the village and home.
Today, with the same objective, whether it is the people who have suffered the brunt of natural disaster or the families of those who lost their loved ones in road accidents. Work is being done to strengthen them by giving benefits of the state government schemes. The Minister said that the people of the state need to know the schemes of the coalition government. Due to lack of information, people are not able to take advantage of the government schemes. Many times, the innocent villagers get trapped in the trap of middlemen and suffer financial loss.
Today, the coalition government of the state is providing benefits ranging from scholarship scheme for children to pension for the elderly and Chief Minister Mainiya Samman Yojana for women. All that is required is that the eligible people of the scheme apply. The state government is continuously taking steps towards making the village strong and self-reliant. 170 people who suffered the brunt of natural disaster in Bedo were given government compensation. 36 women were given sewing machines, five people were given road accident compensation, three people were given animal damage compensation and other benefits of other schemes.
In the Itki block office premises, Tirkey distributed sewing machines among 20 women, solar powered pumps among five beneficiaries under the Kisan Samridhi Yojana, compensation for house damage to 18 beneficiaries, and compensation for road accidents, drowning, and lightning. On this occasion, the Block Development Officers of both the block offices, Circle Officers, District Council Member Berunika Kachhap, Pramukh Vinita Kachhap, Deputy Pramukh Muddasir, Congress Block President Ramesh Mahli, Rajan Kispotta, Bhanu Singh, and Nawal Singh were present.
