City-based VAS Tribology Solutions has helped in setting up Total Fluid Management site for Ashok leyland. Alok Gupta, Plant Director of Ashok leyland inaugurated its Total Fluid Management (lube & Coolant Management) at their Pantnagar plant.
This service is being provided by VAS Tribology Solutions Pvt ltd. With the introduction of this service, Ashok leyland will not only substantially cut down its lubricant and coolant consumption, but will also have better reliability of its machines and quality production. Udey Dhir, Managing Director, VAS Tribology Solutions was present at the function.
In the TFM services, VAS Tribology Solutions will be deputing specially trained manpower on the shop floor. The services covered in this are grade selection, inbound logistics, inventory management, in plant movement, topping up services, condition monitoring, renewal of fluids, data analysis of consumption and assistance in the environmentally safe disposal of used oils.
Till date, there is no agency providing all these services under one umbrella. looking at the usefulness of the service, a lot of industrial undertakings have started taking advantage of the knowledge that VAS Tribology Solutions in this field. Tata Motors ltd Jamshedpur, Tata Hitachi ltd, Bajaj Auto ltd, Aurangabad, Tata Steel, Usha Martin Industries ltd. (Wirerope Division ), have been using these services from VAS Tribology Solutions and have made substantial savings.
