Candidates, who were in the fray for Ranchi lok Sabha constituency, are not getting time to relax, even after the elections are over. Most of them are utilising their time taking review meetings to take stock of their popularity. They are even using this lean for public relation exercise in their constituencies.

“Where is the time to relaxIJ You can see the damage done to the people due to the thunder and wind storm. I am reaching out to the people providing them necessary help and assistance to cope up from the natural calamity,” said TMC candidate Bandhu Tirkey.

According to Tirkey, if someone is in public service he will never try to keep him away from the public life and will not get time to relax. “There are some obligations towards the people which we have to fulfill time to time,” Tirkey added.

Similarly, Congress candidate Subodh Kant Sahay is keeping himself busy by meeting with his supporters getting ground reports and attending social functions. “He has been attending social functions like marriage and birthday parties on regular basis,” said one of Sahay’s aide Ravi Chand Kapoor.

He is also visiting the homes of his supporters and workers as a goodwill gesture thanking them for extending their support to him. “Besides that, he also took few review meetings to identify the workers who stood behind him in the hour of need and those who were roaming somewhere else during the elections,” Kapoor added.
