I C Sahu, Executive Director (Works) ISP Burnpur has been selected as a Council Member of the Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), the largest professional body in the area of Metals and Materials in India for the year 2013-14.
The IIM council is the apex body involved in the various activities of Ministry of Steel and Mines and Planning Commission, apart from the routine activities of dissemination of knowledge among the people involved in ferrous and non-ferrous industries in India, officials said.
“With this Sahu has joined the league of eminent personalities in the council like HM Nerurker, CMD (TATA Steel), SS Mohanty, Director Technical (SAIl), Prof. K Chattopadhyay, (HOD - Nano Sciences (IISc. Bangalore), Prof. I Manna Director (IIT Kanpur), Dr. S Srikant, Director (NMl), M Narayan Rao, CMD (Midhani), Dr. U Kamachi Mudali, Associate Director(IGC), Dr. R N Patra, Director (Indian Rare Earth ltd.) and Dr. T Venugopalan, Ch Tech. Officer (TATA Steel) to name a few”, added the official.
