International Women’s Day celebrated with great enthuses across the city. With the aims to provide security to women, Indian Association of lawyers, Peoples for Justice and Bokaro Advocate Club demanded to bring Social Security Bill for women in the Parliament.
Bokaro Advocate Association urges women 'to be unit and must fight for their right'. In the wake for women security, the Central Government should immediately bring the Social Security Bill for women, said Rangit Giri, advocate Bokaro district court.
Many programmes, including seminars, group discussions were also organised. Indian Medical Association also organised a programme in a bid to strengthen the women. At least 80 women were honored on this eve. Beside others Dr Anjelika, Dr Subha lakra, Dr Matuli Das, Dr Nimmi Toppo, Dr Usha Raj, Advocate Priti Srivastva, Rinku Das, Pushanjali, Renu Kumari, Mamta were present during the programme.
