Independent MlAs unhappy over domicile issue

PNS

Expressing dissatisfaction for not being allotted prominent position in the coordination committee formed by the Hemant Soren government, Independent MlAs have said that it was not serious on the issue of domicile and the coordination committee was just an eye-wash to mislead the people of the state.

“We have been made special invitees meaning we will be called up as and when our requirement is felt necessary by the committee members. This is simply not acceptable to us,” said Mandar MlA Bandhu Tirkey. Tirkey said that despite the government being formed by the support of independent MlAs the government, they are being neglected by the Hemant Soren Government.  Six independents along with MlA Arup Chaterjee have been included in the committee as special invitees in the committee.

Tirkey also warned the Hemant Soren led UPA government that they must adopt a domicile policy within three months time as promised by the Chief Minister.   Anine-member Coordination Committee has been formed by the Hemant Soren government on Tuesday. Union Minister Jairam Ramesh has been made chairman of the Committee that also comprises Congress in-charge in the State BK Hariprasad, PCC president Sukhdeo Bhagat and ClP leader Rajendra Singh as Congress nominees.

A meeting was held by the three MlAs Bandhu Tirkey, Aroop Chaterjee and Anosh Ekka to chalk out their further plan of action.
