BSNL starts Vocational Training Prog for students
For students studying online during the lockdown, BSNL has launched the Vocational Training Program in an online mode this year. Under this, the most prestigious high end regional telecom training centre operated by BSNL in Ranchi is offering the program. MCA, BCA, BSc IT, Engineering and Diploma students can register on the institute’s website and classes will begin from May 18. Customer Service Centre by Postal Department
Establishment of Customer Service Centre (Common Service Centre) in the Postal Department is an important project of the Government of India. The facility will soon be available across 400 post offices across the country and currently it is there in 45 offices. In Ranchi, it has been started at the Namkum Sub Post office and the Kanke Sub Post Office on May 12. It will also be available in selected post offices in the rural areas also. About 43 services including PAN card, passport, Pradhan Mantri Fassal Bima Yogna, issue of birth and death certificates, voter registration will be provided.
BPS Principal, teachers attend CBSE workshops
The Principal and the teachers of Sarala Birla Public School attended a host of workshops conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, COE, Patna, pertaining to the Perspectives Building of Life Skills, Sources of Stress and Responses, and Capacity Building Programme on Developing the Skill of Decision Making in Adolescents. These training sessions were conducted online being cognizant of the guidelines given by the government to maintain social distancing currently. Pramod Kumar, an adept trainer, was the resource person for all the sessions. He projected that the aim of the school education, apart from helping students score well, is to face the challenges of life undeterred. Students face myriad of problems in life which shouldn’t weigh them down in any case.
