Saha hails Hyderabad encounter

State president of Women’s Wing Pradhanmantri Jan kalyankari Yojna Prachar Prasar Abhiyan Shalini Saha today hailed the encounter incident near Hyderabad.  “The manner, in which the convicts were killed in the Priyanka Reddy rape case is highly lauded and it is an honour to the sentiments of crores of people of the country.  I admire the work done by a ‘Singham’ police officer. However, it is regretted that if the punishment was given by legal system through legal assent and such punishments were given through law. In Priyanka Reddy’s case there was a Singham cop, but it is regretted that there are several policemen in the country, who even try to save the culprits in the greed of money,” she said.
