Experiential learning trip by SBPS students
The students of Sarala Birla Public School underwent a seven- day long educational and experiential learning trip to Shimla, Kufri, Manali, Solang Valley and Chandigarh. The purpose of the trip was to let the students experience classroom without walls. The pupils commenced their trip from Ranchi to Shimla. On the first day of the adventurous trip, they enjoyed a full day excursion to Kufri. They visited the Himalayan National Park, Christ Church etc. The students also savoured the toy train ride. In Manali, the students visited Hadimba, Vashisht and Manu Temples. They even enjoyed the thrill of river rafting in the River Vyas. The pupils visited Solang Valley wherein they relished skiing, zip line, yak ride and many more adventurous sports.
Illicit liquor seized, 1 held
Police seized illicit liquor pouches from a hotel at Kathara, under Bokaro Thermal police station here on Saturday. As per police sources, police team from Bokaro Thermal police station conducted a raid in Hotel Vijay at Kathara.The police team seized 45 pouches of illicit liquor and huge quantities of foreign liquor The owner of the hotel identified as Vijay Prasad has been arrested from the spot. A case has been registered at Bokaro Thermal police station and investigation has been started.
Know your Booth camp
A special camp under Know Your Booth at all the polling centres of the city will be organized on Sunday. Eligible citizens can apply for adding their names in the voter’s list at these camps. The BLOs will be giving information related to voting and will also inform the voters about their booths.
Realme offline sales in 150 cities
Realme recently announced to expand the offline sales to 150 cities in the year 2019. The young brand started with top cities of the country, gradually moving towards 150 cities phase by phase. The “Proud to be Young” brand has collaborated with offline retailers which will be known as Real Partners and will give a value addition to customer experience. Currently realme is working with real partners in Ranchi & Patna and throughout the region. Going forward the brand will extend partnership with more dealers in Patna& Ranchi. The brand will establish 2-2 service centres in Ranchi & Patna eventually adding on more across the region.
