4 days livelihood protection event at IINRG concludes
A four day programme for livelihood protection for Resin Integrated Agricultural Forestry system concluded on Friday in the premises of Indian Institute of Natural Resin and Gums (IINRG), Namkom. Director IINRG, Kewal Krishna Sharma gave his nod to a technical experts’ team to visit the villages through Kisaan Schools. Nitin Kulkarni was present on the occasion as Chief Guest. This programme was sponsored by World Agricultural Forestry Centre and organised by IINRG.
UBI observes Vigilance Awareness Week
United Bank of India Ranchi Zonal office celebrated Vigilance Awareness Week on Friday which started on October 28 and continue till November 2. Chief General Manager, Ranchi Zone Sudhi Kumar Sinha was supervised the celebration. On the occasion a rally was organised to spread awareness among people about vigilance in which staff of all branches of the UBI from Ranchi zone participated. Main objective of the drive was to ensure a corruption free society.
Ranchi Police recover body from pond
A body of unknown person was found on Friday morning from Machli Park under Doranda Police Station in Ranchi District. Doranda Police Station In-charge, Shailesh Prasad said that the body was not identified yet. Police reached the spot after getting the information that one person drowned in the pond when police reached the spot it found that a body was floating in the pond. The Police recovered the body and sent it to Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) for autopsy.
