Investiture ceremony at Kairali School
Kairali School conducted its investiture ceremony on May 2 for the student council of the academic year 2019-20. Representatives were honored by Principal Jacob C J, and vice Principal K.R Smriti, where they were given a sash and medals. Introducing the members of the council A Pramila, coordinator of the student council asserted them to work in discipline. The representatives were also made to take an oath before the entire school.
Honda drives Ranchi to vote
Honda Motorcycle; Scooter India Pvt Ltd has expanded its biggest social activism movement #ActivIndia with support of 26 lakh Indians. It is igniting voters in Ranchi to exercise their right to vote. As lack of transportation is often a hurdle, Honda is bringing a free pick up drop service for senior citizens, differently able persons to reach polling booths. Nearest dealership can be contacted for availing the service. Additionally, a two-wheeler rally of 100 people covering 28kms was flagged off by Anuj Oraon, DSP.
Kota dominance in IIT JEE
Kota has once again seized its quota in IIT-JEE (Mains) examinations bagging 35 positions in top 100 ranks including the 2nd rank. Students of Allen Career Institute bagged 7 positions in the top 20 ranks, once again a making a big mark in IIT- JEE exams, which are gateway to top NITs, IIITs and CFITs of the country. Kevin Martin of Allen Bengaluru bagged second position while JayeshSingla and Nishant Abhangi secures 4th and 6th positions respectively.
Cosmos-Maya launches ‘Inspector Chingum’
Cosmos-Maya has launched ‘Inspector Chingum’, an eponymous spin-off of the popular ‘MotuPatlu’ franchise on TV. Fans of the character can watch the show on Disney’s Hungama TV 29th April onwards. The show was launched on Amazon Prime Video last summer and has been doing well on the platform. Disney has therefore been successful in leveraging the placement of the show.
Asian Paints ties with AR Rahman
Leading paint company, Asian Paints, collaborated with musical icon A.R Rahman for their Dreaming with the Stars event. A star studded event which had the brand ambassadors of Asian Paints light up the stage with the stunning Deepika Padukone and the charismatic Ranbir Kapoor; the event was graced by the master entertainer Karan Johar. The event perfectly showcased the synergy between the two creative houses: Asian Paints and musical genius A.R Rahman.
