UNESQUO weekender
The United Engineers Speaking and Quizzing Organization (UNESQUO), the quizzing and debating society of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra organised its annual weekender from 15th November-17th November 2019 at BIT Mesra. The first event of the session was the Biztech quiz and the Quizmaster of the event was Adnan Azmat. The quiz was followed by an intriguing Just a Minute (JAM) Session. The Last day of the Weekender started with the most awaited ‘HELM’ quiz presented by the Socratic Quizmasters. The final event of the weekender, ‘True Lies’, an amalgamation of quizzing and oratory, commenced on November 17.
Nuvoco launches Concreto Green
Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd today launched Concreto Green, one of its most innovative and environment-friendly cement variant. This High Performance Cement uses up to 25 per cent less water in comparison to other cement variants; thereby opening avenues for the building materials industry where water is scarce.
