Finally the body of Dilip Kumar Thakur, an employee of a shipping company of America who passed away in the USA on October 20, 2013, arrived to Hazariabgh on November 17 and was cremated on November 18 with rituals at his native place Vishnugarh.
The family members got this information on the same day but were unable to go to America or to bring the body of their son back due to financial crisis.
This was the time when the local members of BJP met the family members and took them to their MP Yashwant Sinha who took the issue forward and made it possible for the parents of Dilip to see him for the last time.
