Bahujan Samajwadi Party MLA Shivpujan Prasad Mehta from Hussainabad constituency joined the AJSU Party on Monday. The party’s central committee president Sudesh Kumar Mahato welcomed him in the party.
The meeting function was organized at the party headquarter of the AJSU Party in Ranchi. In this, BSP MLAs along with hundreds of their supporters arrived.
On this occasion, Mahato said that with Mehta joining the party, the social justice movement will be strengthened.
“At the same time, we hope that in the coming time, the activism of the party will proceed in accordance with the public sentiment not only in Palamu region but in the whole of Jharkhand. We respect the views of Mehta and they also respect the workers who came with them,” he added.
Mahato said that the time has come to create a new Jharkhand. “We will all together achieve the goal of elevating the State to realize the dreams that the Jharkhand agitators had dreamt of,” he added.
Speaking on this occasion, Shivpujna Mehta said that AJSU is party of soil. “This party has represented Jharkhand through struggle and sacrifice.
AJSU Party is engaged in realizing the dreams of Binod Bihari Mahato, the pioneer of Jharkhand movement.
AJSU Party has fought for the separate State.
The AJSU Party has the ability to lead people of Jharkhand. I worked a lot for the BSP, raised the flag, but the BSP did not live up to the spirit of Jharkhand.
Under the banner of AJSU Party, we will all fulfill the pledge of new formation of Jharkhand,” he added.
