In the town, attractive lighting and enlarged worship of Maa Durga are attracting the people of the city. The model of Kedarnath mandir is made by Barwa toli Navyuwak Sangh. likewise the model of Thailand temple at BID, a giant idol of Bengal at Veer Shivaji Chouk, a model of the temple of Kolkata at Mahaveer Chouk, Kedar Nathh Dham at Railway siding, the scene of Nanchan at Bakshi Dipa, the model of the temple of Bengluru at Hatia Garden, besides it the pandals of many models are exhibited at Tiwary Dura, Upper Bazar, Amla toli, Veer Shivaji Chouk, Durga Badi, Harijan Pathhshala, Maina Bagicha, Block office, Patra Toli, Manho, Badla, Serenghatu, Chandkoppa, Nigni, Kujra, Barhi, Badla Tangra Toli etc. the city is enjoying the festive fever.
The bhajans of Maa Durga can be heared at any corner of the district. The administration is also all set to provide security and safety to the citizens. For this penalty officers have been deputed. The district administration seems to be more cautious to face any untoward incident in the occasion of Durga Puja this year. It left no stone unturned to provide a flora and fauna for peaceful celebrations of the festival. For this security by the district police force has been provided to each pandal and every chouk of the district. Penalty officers have also been deputed to look into the situations.
