PNS

This time Palamu police and 134 battalion of CRPF gave a dent to the CPI Maoists. The two forces in a joint search at three sites between Aboon and Bikra on Tuesday recovered many things from acid to bombs all of the Maoists kept in hiding.

Confirming this recovery by the joint forces, DIG police Palamu Saket Kumar Singh said 100 kgs of codex wires widely used in making death traps and 20 litres of sulfuric acid were recovered from one.

Two cylinder bombs, two can bombs, gun powder, SlR magazine and other articles of the Maoists were recovered from another sites, added the DIG.

Twelve bundles of wire bulbs, 100 detonators, chargers belts adapter etc. were found from the third sites, said Singh adding the three sites were Maoists’ hiding place. They were not far from each other. These were well between Aboon and Bikra.

However the security forces on a precise and pin point tip off dug out these sites much to the disbelief of the Maoists that their hidden goods would be so captured by the security forces.

SP Palamu Patel Mayur K lal said at Aboon the security forces had gathered 12 hand grenades in the past one week. Patel Mayur said this recovery between Aboon and Bikra is the biggest one so far.

Sources said latehar police and 11 battalion of CRPF there went on digging out Maoists goods ranging from bombs hand grenades sulphuric acid to ammonium nitrate for nearly a month and never returned any empty handed rather they had to cart things and bombs were neutralised in situ position. On Monday the latehar police and 11 battalion of CRPF discovered a lone 10 Kg IED.

If it is Srendag in latehar where is the mine of the Maoists it is Aboon in Palamu and at both the places the security forces have begun to fish out Maoists most treasure trove the ammunition and the explosive.
