After days of discussion on ‘Demand for Grants’ the Assembly on Tuesday passed Rs55,492.95 crore annual budget for the FY 2015-16. Speaker Dinesh Oraon readout breakup for all the Departments and put the Budget for voice vote.
The Budget for the upcoming financial year starting on April 1 has provisions of Rs23,351.11 crore for non-plan expenditures and the rest Rs32,136 crore for planed expenses. State plan is of Rs 22526.70 crore which would be getting Rs 9048.89 crore as Central assistance and Rs561.25 crore under centrally sponsored schemes.
