Veteran Congress leader SRA Rizwi Chabban has said that hooting of Chief Minister Hemant Soren by a section of people present in the gathering during the PM’s programme in Ranchi is an insult for entire Jharkhand and PM Narendra Modi must seek an apology from the people of the State.
He said that incidents of hooting in different states only go to show that BJP believes in divisive politics only. He demanded a public apology from Modi for hooting “by BJP workers” and threatened that such incidents in future will lead to uncultured atmosphere in the country.
“Moreover, the mysterious silence of the PM was also matter of concern. Modi is taking credit of previous UPA government’s projects. And his remaining silence during BJP activists’ hooting at chief ministers, shows the party is deliberately indulging such acts,” noted Chabban.
