DNA testing exercise season seems to be continuing in politics nowadays. Extending further, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent jibe on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s political DNA, Raghubar Das has now claimed to have examined of the Congress’ one.Addressing media persons on Friday, the Chief Minister criticised the Congress for stalling Parliament and robbing the country of development. “Congress has always pained this country, being in power or in the Opposition. It started with the Emergency and continued till recently with massive corruption. They are reduced to 44 and not even capable of getting Opposition’s tag. But hooliganism is in their DNA which ate up the entire Session,” said Das.
The Press conference was in the series of the exercise started by the BJP for exposing the Congress following the disruption that held up entire gamut of Bills, including the GST, aimed at economic reforms. Video of lok Sabha proceedings were also played out to drive home the point.“Behaviour of the Congress is a lesson for every one in the country which is the largest democracy of the world. It is evident how the party damaged the reputation of the country with just 44 MPs! They should respect majority in a democracy like ours,” said the chief minister.
He, at the same time, brushed aside the allegations leveled against the party leaders, including Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and instead charged former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi for writing a secret letter in 1983 to the then USSR President for help in taming growing opposition of the Communist Party of India back home.
“Their leader Rahul Gandhi is looking for a possibility for himself by taking name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has been rejected from everywhere. He is like an inexperienced candle in front of Sun like Narendra Modi,” said Das while eulogising the Prime Minister.
