Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Saturday held an important meeting to address the problems due to obstruction in the auctioning of balu ghats.
As per the directive of Supreme Court, it is important to seek environment clearance for sand mining. The Mines department has made mandatory for the contractor to obtain the clearance. Addressing the meeting CM said an effort should be made to get environment clearance for all balu ghats in the State.
Significantly, Soren also instructed officials to study related laws in neighbouring states and prepare an effective proposal to end the ongoing controversy.
