Hearing on the anticipatory bail petition of BJP leader Giriraj Singh has been deferred till Monday. The case has been transferred in the court of Additional District Judge Bipin Bihari on Saturday.
“The case will heard on Monday,” said advocate Ranjit Giri. Singh had filed anticipatory bail application on Friday against the non-bailable warrant issued against him by a Bokaro court for passing inflammatory remarks during election campaign in Bokaro.
Singh was facing the heat of imminent arrest warrants as three FIRs were lodged against him at Deogarh, Bokaro and Patna for his hate speeches. However, he got some relief as a Patna court granted him anticipatory bail for his alleged ‘hate speeches’ during election campaign in Bihar.
