An event to create awareness highlighting the aspects of wellness in Ranchi and its surrounding areas is being organized for the first time by Fun Factory. The ‘Health and Wellness Fair 2018’ is a one of its kind event giving opportunity to the various companies to share information about their products and services, distribute leaflets, and also create new customers as well as business networks.
Scheduled to be held on 13th and 14th October from 10:30 am onwards at Fun Factory Ranchi, near Jumar bridge, Booty, the fair will have exhibitors from state government departments, non-profit organizations, community organizations, local businesses and big corporate houses across Ranchi and India.
The participants of the event shall be from a broad spectrum of the Health Sector including hospitals, medical establishments, pharmaceutical companies, ayurveda, homeopath, dental doctors and clinics, medical colleges, yoga, acupressure, physiotherapists, dieticians, specialist doctors, gym, insurance companies, medical equipment manufacturers, etc. Specialist doctors, other speakers and representatives of participants will put forward their views and presentation during the course of the event. They can also provide valuable health and wellness resources through samples, health screenings and interactive activities. The event will give an avenue to business to business as well as business to customer promotions. The Pioneer is the media partner of the event.
Organizer of the event and director of Fun Factory, Durgesh Sahu said, “The idea is to do some new and innovative events, which can be beneficial for the people of Ranchi. This fair is an attempt to get everyone under one roof. We will also have specialist speakers on nutrition, weight loss, yoga and so on. We wish to reach out to as many people as possible.
Some of the participants and also sponsors of the event are Santevita, RPS Hospital, Patanjali, Medanta, Medica and CCL Hospital. Some of the hospitals are also giving free health check- ups. People visiting the ‘Health and Wellness Fair 2018’ shall get an exclusive access to ‘Discounted health packages’ of top hospitals.
The two day event also includes brain storming sessions by senior doctors, exchange of knowledge through orientation programs, a baby show, body building exhibition, dog show and live instrumental music.
