The Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Hazaribag has become the first Conscious Sedation center in Jharkhand. With the grand opening, it organized a 2 day conference "PEDO - RENDEZVOUS" in the college campus on 2nd July 2022 & 3rd July 2022 for the BDS students, MDS students, Practitioners and Staffs. The event was charted under the supervision of our honorable Secretary, H.C.D.S.H, Dr. Praveen Srinivas. Dr. K. Sri Krishna (Principal and H.O.D in Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology) extended his unconditional support for this event. Our guest dignitaries Dr. Sukhdeep Singh ( H.O.D of Pediatric Dentistry, Sharda University, Noida) & Dr. Srinivas Namineni (President of Family Support for Children with Disabilities, Hyderabad) enlightened the delegates with their supreme knowledge on Practice Management and Conscious Sedation. After the lectures, a hands-on was organized for Conscious Sedation which was demonstrated by Dr. Srinivas Namineni and further performed by the delegates in the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, H.C.D.S.H. The programme was organized and co-ordinated by Dr Vipin Ahuja(H.O.D & Prof. Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry), Dr. Swati Singh ( Reader, Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry), Dr. Kulshrestha( Tutor, Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry), our post graduate students Dr. Jaya Verma, Dr. Arunima, Dr. Swati Murmu, Dr. Sumit Kumar Betal, Dr. Subhadip Biswas and Dr. Areez Fatma. Many delegates from different colleges all over Jharkhand actively participated in the conference.
