Hazaribagh Municipal Corporation office has become the second Government office of the district to become cashless. Hazaribagh Sadar SDO announced the office as cashless in a function oraganised at the corporation office on Wednesday.
Mayor Anjali Kumari and Deputy Mayor Annand Dev were present in this programme along with the executive officer, ward councilors, bank officials and staffs.
Addressing the gathering Ranjan said that it is a proud moment for all of us as the Municipal Corporation office has become cashless. It is the second office of Hazaribagh which has become cashless. Some days ago DTO Hazaribagh was declared the first cashless government office of the state. He thanked the mayor, deputy mayor, officials and ward councilors to make arrangements with the help of bank officials within a short span of time.
Mayor Anjali Kumari said that today is a historic day for Hazaribagh Municipal Corporation. She thanked the bank officials for their help in achieving the target within less than 10 days time. Some days ago a workshop was organized to make the staffs familiar with the processes of cashless transactions and today we are going to implement it. From today onwards cash transaction will become a story of past for all of us, she added.
Deputy Mayor Annand Dev said that installation of a ATM in corporation office premises is proposed and hoped that it will serve the denizens who come here for their different works. The facility of E-pause machine is now available here and we are ready to take amounts by other methods also such as SBI Budi, Paytm etc…
Speaking on the occasion executive officer of Hazaribagh Municipal corporation Ashish Kumar said that we are pledged to provide better and better service to the denizens of Hazaribagh.
Yesterday in the board meeting the members have decided to purchase more vehicles and tools for ongoing cleanliness drive. It has also been decided that in the market areas of the town special teams will complete the job of cleaning the area during night.
