Hazaribagh police has arrested two more bank dacoits involved in the loot of about `21 lakhs from Ichak branch of Allahabad Bank on 7th February 2017. SP Anup Birthare gave this information to the newsmen in his office chamber on Wednesday 1st March evening.
SP Birthare said that five teams were constituted to nab the dacoits involved in this bank loot in which six persons were involved. Earlier Hazaribagh police has arrested Ravindra Soni of Ghatotand Ramgarh and Md. Samim of Rasoiya Dhamna Barhi and has recovered 2.42 lakhs from them. During interrogation these two had given the names and address of their other associates.
On the basis of information given by both nabbed culprits police teams were sent to Bihar, Deoghar, Dhanbad, Ranchi and other places. On 28th February the team led by DSP II Dinesh Kumar Gupta arrested another two from Ranchi. The arrested bank dacoits are Ranvir Kumar Singh alias Pappu Singh, a resident of Katoriya village of Banka district of Bihar and Shambhu Das of Madhupur Deogha
