MoS, Finance Jayant Sinha inaugurated the first basic health centre managed by Johar Foundation with the help of Milinda Gates Foundation at Hazaribagh on Monday near Jhinjhariya Bridge, NH33, the entry point of Hazaribagh town. After inaugurating the health center Jayant said that soon five such centres will start working in Hazaribagh parliamentary constituency with the help of Milinda Gates Foundation founded by famous international business tycoon Bill Gates.
“I have promised to provide specialized medical hospital to my voters during election campaign and as the things are going on as per estimate it will start serving the people by 2018. But for primary health needs of the denizens of my constituency we decided to start basic health centers at important points of the constituency where we will keep the digital data of all the patients which will help them in specialised treatment,” he said. He also informed that in these basic health centers we will arrange consultation of specialised doctors on a mere fee of `100 and will provide free ambulance service.
Talking about his Sunday’s visit of Barkagaon and meeting with the peasants whose land have been acquired or going to be acquired for industrial development, Sinha said that most of the people there are of opinion that rapid industrial development of the area is necessary but a political conspiracy is also going on there. Some parties and peoples are making conspiracy there to obstruct the process of development. However he hoped that people are conscious enough and they will support the government’s effort to make their lives better.
Jayant Sinha also informed about the Standup India Program going to be launched by PM Narendra Modi tomorrow at New Delhi and said that he will remain present in that program. Giving a brief account of the Standup India Program, Sinha said that it has been specially framed up to give a boost to the women entrepreneurs of the country. Through Standup India Program our government wants to link the half population of our country with the main stream of development.
Regarding success of Mudra Bank Scheme he said that the initial performance report of Hazaribagh district is satisfactory and hoped that more and more people will come forward to take benefit of this scheme in future. Repeating the pledge of overall development of the area he said that within just two years of coming into office the Modi Government has initiated many programs and schemes which will start flowering and fruiting in the days to come. later in another program he inaugurated the office of Ramnavmi Mahasamiti near Bada Akhara, Hazaribagh, and appealed to everyone to celebrate the festival with enthusiasm and peace.
