On the occasion of 76th Independence Day, Hazaribag administration organized a flag hoisting programme at the Hazaribag Stadium. Deputy Commissioner Nancy Sahay hoisted the National flag, saluted the flag and inspected the parade.
In her speech she said that on the walls of the deputy commissioner office the painting shows what were the views of the last deputy commissioner of Hazaribag. She said that the schools of the district had dispatched thousands of messages to the jawans who are serving on the border of the country.
She said that we have to make an effort to start the development from the village. It is the duty of the administration to provide all basic amenities to people living in far off areas.
Sahay further said that the Hazaribag administration is doing the development on this line. “We have completed 75 ponds in villages. For conservation of water we have repaired 2986 Dobha’s. We have completed the 78 per cent work of Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana in the district,” she said.
“We have provided the benefit to 44,837 persons under Sarvjan Pension Yojana in a year. We have converted the 639 Anganvadi kendras into model centers,” she said.
In the Vinoba Bhave University the vice chancellor Mukul Naryan Dev hoisted the National flag on the Vinodani Park at the headquarters. On this occasion the VC said that we are heading towards quality education.
He further said that we have started so many new courses at the university this year. We are going to start the course on cybercrime from this session.
Hazaribag SP Manoj Kumar Chothey hoisted the flag in the SP office, SDO sadar in SDO office, NTPC in NTPC office at Barkagaon office, LIC divisional \office, all banks and schools hoisted the flag.
