Haughty Modi attitude one of disdain, scorn and reproach: Subodh Kant

PNS

Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Subodh Kant Sahai on Sunday blaimed Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for corona crisis. Sahai said, “In India Corona cases crossed  the ill fated ten lakh count. Poor planning and awful management of the ground situation have pushed the country in the jaws of unprecedented crisis. When in the early stages of the spread of Covid-19 good practices were suggested by others the haughty Modi’s  attitude was one of disdain, scorn and reproach.”

“Today all that arrogance  seems to have vanished in thin air and the stark reality of this rapidly spreading pandemic is staring him in the face. The most shocking matter is that the Health Ministry is continually painting a rosy picture through statistical jugglery completely evading the grim reality that one out of every thousand person is now Corona infected,” Sahai said.

The former Union Minister further said that at the current rate of its spread,  time is not far when one out of every five hundred persons will be Covid positive. “Timely and judicially executed actions may have helped us overcome this dreaded disease. But PM Modi would not broach any advice. He has been made to believe in the decree of infallibility by the cronies. And that’s the first symptom of fall,” he added.

Let’s all pray for redemption from both — Covid-19 and foreign policy, Sahai wished.
