Governor Dr. Syed Ahmad directed the Development Commissioner on Monday to coordinate with all concerned departments and file an integrated report within a month telling how the recommendations made in Sachar Committee report could be implemented.
He was addressing a high level meeting of officials on solving the problems faced by minorities in the State.
The Governor also wanted to know the reason behind the delay in appointment of Urdu teachers. On this the HRD secretary said that the process of appointment would start after the announcement of results of Teachers’ Eligibility Test.
He ordered to give the responsibility of forming Urdu Academy and Academies for other languages Rajbhasha Department. Similarly he directed Building Construction Department to take the responsibility of constructing the Haj House which is at present being constructed by Housing Department.
