In a move to strengthen the party’s base in the State, addressing Congress workers on Tuesday, Health Minister Banna Gupta said that one has to fight for one’s rights everywhere whether it is a fight within the organization or to get the people their rights.

Gupta was speaking at the Nav Sankalp program organized by the Ranchi Metropolitan Congress Committee in the old assembly auditorium on Tuesday. This program was organized in the light of the decision taken by the All India Congress Committee (AICC) in the Chintan Shivir organized in Udaipur.

The programme was presided over by Mahanagar Congress Committee President Sanjay Pandey. At the beginning of the program, the workers present in the workshop were given full information regarding the new resolution announcement taken in Udaipur.

Gupta said that we have to be ready to adopt the path of agitation at all times under any circumstances. “Communal forces are trying to dominate the entire Country. Our first priority should be to preserve the social fabric of the Country and the State so that the divisive forces could not succeed. We have to be ready to fight against such elements also,” he added.

Speaking on the occasion Ranchi District Congress Mahanagar, Chief, Sanjay Pandey said that the workers of the organization are the real strength of the party. “The main objective of organizing Nav Sankalp Workshop is to take the organization among the public. In the light of the decision taken at Udaipur Chintan Shivir in the entire metropolitan area to commemorate 75 years of India's independence, a 75-km long tricolor-cum-padayatra will be organized from August 9,” he added.

Pandey apprised the workers present in the workshop about the main facts of the Chintan Shivir held in Parasnath at the State level and at Udaipur at the All India level. He said that how and what programs should be done in the interest of the organization so that the party’s base could strengthen in the State and on which issues should the workers go among the public so that they could attract their attention?
