The Government accepted in the House that some officials related to the Sikidri hydel project have been questioned by the CBI for allegedly inflating its renovation cost. BHEl had done revival work of the project at the cost of `20 crore. JVM’s Pradeep Yadav raised the issue during Question Hour on which Minister CP Singh said that some officials are being investigated by the agency. “Some officers related to the project have been questioned. The House would be updated about the findings of the probe in days to come,” said he.
