Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Bokaro district goes digital on Wednesday. CM Hemant Soren inaugurated ‘Smart Classes’ at all KGBV across the Bokaro district in a programme organised at Kasmar in Petarwar.
Bokaro is the first district in Jharkhand where ‘smart classes’ are introduced in Government schools. Smart Class is digital traditional classrooms with an aim to improve education with latest techniques in government schools; equipped with gadgets like computers, CDs and DVDs, projectors, white board with digital pen, sound boxes including others, said an official adding “to make classes more interactive, informative and pleasant.”
