The Government of Jharkhand has approved the proposal regarding the
construction of a Multipurpose air-conditioned Indoor hall at Bokaro
having a super built up area 6312.01 Sqm. The decision has come after
efforts put in by the Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan. The legislator
extended special thanks to the Chief Minister Hemant Soren for this
approval and said that Bokaro Art and culture will get a boost with
the Multipurpose Indoor Hall. He also thanked Urban Development and
Housing Secretary along with DC Bokaro for extending all supports.
The Urban development and Housing department has issued administrative
approval of Rs. 24.46 crore for the construction of this multipurpose
air-conditioned indoor hall in Bokaro at Sector 1 , Camp 2. This
indoor hall to be built for multi-purpose utility, will have
facilities for various public program meeting and cultural activities
which includes one multipurpose hall having capacity of 1200, one open
space for multipurpose events having capacity of 1000, one Meeting
hall with 50 capacity, 2 VIP lounges. In additional Cafeteria, open
garden space, vehicle parking etc. The implementation of the said
Project will get coordinated under Jharkhand Urban Infrastructure
Development Company Limited(JUIDCO) , established under the Urban
Development and Housing Department, Jharkhand by selecting the proper
contractor through open and competitive tender and set a 24-month
deadline in order to complete this Multipurpose air-conditioned Indoor
hall project .
