Following a Cabinet decision the Government on Friday issued notification reserving all class 3 and 4 posts for locals across the State. Earlier the posts were reserved for locals only in 13 districts out of 24.
Also, the notification would be applicable for those vacancies for which advertisements have been issued as fresh applications would be invited.
The posts have been reserved for 10 years period in which residents of the concerned district would only be considered during appointments.
The decision has come after the Government formed a committee headed by Minister Amar Kumar Bauri which recommended for that.
