Preparations are on for the Friday visit of the Governor Syed Ahmed here in Daltonganj. The Governor is on a day’s visit and will land at Chiyanki airstrip around 9.50 in the morning and by 2.10 the same day will take off for Ranchi by the State helicopter.
The Deputy Commissioner Palamau Manoj Kumar confirmed that the Governor will be accompanied by Principal Secretary N N Sinha and other senior officials. The Governor is to lay foundation and inaugurate a total of 11 schemes online.
Alittle change has been done in the venue. Earlier it was Shivajee Maidan but the programme of the Governor related to foundation and inauguration coupled with his public speech will be held at the police line stadium now. SP Palamau Narendra Kumar Singh has confirmed this shifting of venue. Narendra said the police line stadium is just close to the circuit house where the Governor is to spend some time and ferrying him from here to police line stadium would be easier.
Interestingly just four days back the State Chief Secretary RS Sharma and with his team had arrived here on June 10 for a review of the developmental schemes.
