Governor of Jharkhand CP Radhakrishnan today called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. They had discussion over a wide range of topics with development as the centre point. The Governor briefed the PM about the status of education, health, sanitation, drinking water, housing for all schemes in the State.
Security scenario in the state was also discussed wherein development of LWE areas was the focal point.
The Governor also briefed the PM about new reforms that are being implemented in the higher education sector in the state. Besides, the future roadmap for improvement of higher education in the state aims to create human capital which will act as a catalyst in the state's development. The Governor also apprised the PM of the expansion of air and rail network /connectivity in the state .
The PM has assured all necessary support and cooperation in holistic development of the state.
