The governor said that education is the key to development. The proportion of women in Jharkhand is higher than other states, but there are no women universities in the state, she lamented. Earlier, Mahila Vishwa Vidyalaya has also been started in Jamshedpur but it is not running in a full-fledged way.

The Governor said that during her tenure, she got a chance to visit many Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs). Today the facilities in the KGBV have increased. Education is going very well in these schools. The results are getting better. The Governor said that there is no discrimination between sons and daughters in Jharkhand. Girls will find their own way of life by studying. “Despite being from the state of Odisha, I feel that I am from Jharkhand because I got a lot of love from this state. I told the people of the present that today daughters must be taught. Do tell them the good and evil of life. The government makes schools, colleges. It is your duty and duty to protect it. People should have more responsibility for it. Daughters should be taught to take care of society, she said.
