On the first day of the three day workshop, a knee replacement surgery was conducted at CCl’s Gandhinagar Hospital, Racnhi. This work shop is being organised by IICM and Central Hospital Gandhinagar, CCl from June 16th to 18th. Knee replacement surgery of Asha Devi w/o of Sevak Saw who is currently posted at CCl’s Argada Areas was done by Prof. Rajesh Malhotra HOD (Orthopedic), AIIMS.
The purpose of this “Orthopedics and Trauma work shop” is to update the doctors of Coal India with the latest developments. The work shop will be conducted by eminent faculties from AIIMS, Delhi and Kolkata.
The program will attended by about 35 doctors of different subsidiaries of Coal India limited. During the work shop, 02 patients will undergo Knee replacement through endoscopic spinal surgery by Prof Rajesh Malhotra, HOD (Orthopedic), AIIMS, Delhi and Prof Sudhir Kumar.
This kind of program will be done every year to upgrade and enhance the knowledge of doctors of Coal India. CMS Gandhinagar, Dr RR Sinha, Dr PK Gupta, Dr VK Singh, Dr Nirmal Kumar, Dr B Rajak & para-medical staffs were present during the programme.
