Development Commissioner Amit Khare assured Gumla district officials that availability of funds for any plan related to irrigation or livelihood was not a constraint at all.
Reviewing the plans and execution in the district with Water Resources and Environment Department Principal Secretary Sukhdeo Singh, Agriculture Secretary Nitin Madan Kulkarni, Drinking Water and Sanitation Secretary AP Singh, Gumla DC Shravan Sai and others, Khare directed to prepare a database of farmers and to come up with plans for fisheries.
He said to hand over the operation of tourist houses constructed in Raidih and Palkot to women Self Help Groups. Khare also directed to bring all completed but unused buildings of schools, colleges and hospitals in use.
