The officers of forest department conducted a raid near Namkum Overbridge and seized 15 cages and 69 birds put up for sale, prohibited under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. This is the latest location for this kind of illegal trade, earlier it was situated near Kantatoli Chowk, closed after frequent raids by the forest department officials and police forces.
