First tanker containing Crude Coal Tar produced from the Coal Chemicals Division of new Coke Oven Battery No.11 flagged off on Monday for dispatch by Narendra Kothari, Chief Executive Officer of IISCO Steel Plant.
While the second tanker was flagged off by R N Das, ED (Projects) and Sudhir Kumar, ED (F&A) in presence of large number of senior officials and employees. About 40 Ton Crude Coal Tar was loaded and dispatched in two tankers, official Informed.
“Crude coal tar is one of the main products from the Coal Chemicals Division of Coke Oven Battery No.11 complex where 40 Tons of Crude coal tar is generated per day at the present rate of oven pushing.
The generated Coal tar is stored in two Tar Storage Tanks of 1900 Tonnes capacity each”, official added.
