Two minor girls were allegedly raped by the two minor boys in a village under Ketar police station around 70 km away from the district headquarter, on Wednesday, police said.
The minor girls, aged around 16, had gone to collect Mahua flower near the bank of Sone River in the morning, when two boys hailing from adjacent village forcibly molested and raped them. The victims informed to their families about the incident. The family members informed the police on Wednesday evening.
On the basis of victims’ statement Ketar police registered FIR under section 376 of IPC and 6 of the POCSO Act against both minor boys, said officer in Charge Jainath Oraon.
