Four days on, no word has come from the Police headquarters with regard to DSP Hl Ravi here. Ravi joined here as DSP on April 14 after his transfer from Hazaribagh and was to replace Prabhat Ranjan Barwar at Daltonganj. But DSP Barwar, who was transferred to Special Branch Ranchi, later was ordered to continue at his place as his transfer order was stayed.
Ravi, though could not got any further instruction and is in catch-22 situation. His stay in Daltonganj has a question mark following the cancellation of transfer of Barwar and his subsequent stay order in Daltonganj, said sources.
The SP Palamu Patel Mayur K lal said on Monday that the Police headquarters has not sent in any instruction in this regard. The SP adding further said a written report to this effect seeking instructions from the Police headquarters has already been sought by him.
Patel said he is not competent enough to settle this issue as the transfers of Barwar and Ravi and stay and cancellation of transfer of Barwar, all have been notified by the Government and hence in Ravi’s case too a notification from the Government is most sought after thing to decide his fate of posting.
