As per the government decision from August 01 the liquor shops are going to be run by government itself. For it the excise department of Hazaribagh organized a training program for selected sales representatives in the auditorium of Suchna Bhawan on Monday. Excise Commissioner SB Kumar briefed the sales representatives about the norms fixed by state government according to which the shops will remain open from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the town area and 12 noon to 8 p.m. in rural areas. He also warned the representatives to not sell liquor to anyone who is not adult at any cost and to adhere with other directives of the government. In this training program the sales officer of SIS, Supervisor, officials and staffs of excise department were present.
