Garhwa DC and chairman of Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan Dr Manish Ranjan suspended one teacher and withheld the salary of a junior engineer on Saturday.
After a review meeting with DEO Ram Yatan Ram, DSE Arbind Kumar and ADPO Ambuj Pandey, DC directed to suspend the teacher Sanjay Ram who was posted at village Nawadih Primary School and found absent from the school since several months. DC also withheld the salary of junior engineer Anil Pandey who had failed to complete a building of Kasturba Gandhi Residential School, Kharaundhi.
He directed him to complete the building with immediate effect. In the meeting, DC directed to maintain the standard of mid-day meals which is served to the children. If any complain found regarding the mid-day meals in any of the school then the block education officer along with guilty person would be suspended.
DC has asked the official to transfer the money of mid-day meal through NIFT and also to inform the block education officer. Also, he directed ADPO to distribute the sweaters to the Kasturba Gandhi Residential school girls by January 10. Ranjan directed the DSE to utilise the advance amount of Rs.24 cror 88 lakh by January 23 otherwise FIR would be lodged against them for bungling.
In another meeting with special officer of Nagar Panchayat, Anjana Das, chairman Pinki Keshari and vice chairman Anil Pandy, Dr Manish Ranjan directed to beautify the bus stand which is in deplorable state. Dr Manish Ranjan also directed to start construction of toilets and urinals at 5 to 10 place. Installation of solar light from ZEDA at all main roads, all lanes, hostel field, and park has been instructed by the DC.
