In a meeting of Board of Directors of Greater Ranchi Development Authority Chief Minister Hemant Soren stressed on time bound progress of long-term projects. CM said maintaining quality to achieve the goal is more important than beginning work.
CM said the proper plan should be made to utilize land which will become vacant after the completion of proposed Raj Bhawan, Vidhansabha and Secretariat. Soren also said that efforts should be made to ensure that those whose lands will be acquired are not relocated at distant places and as far as possible it should also ensured that their ownership of the land rests with the original user. He also asked the officials to focus on such modals developed elsewhere.
After a presentation on the development of HEC Phase-1 CM said multi-storey building should be completed for those who will affected once the project begins.
The meeting was attended by Development Commissioner AK Sarkar, Principal Secretary to CM Sukhdeo Singh, Principal Secretary Building Construction Raj Bala Verma, MD GRDA Avinash Kumar.
