As per the directive of the Election Commission, the National Electoral Rolls Purification and Authentication Programme (NERPAP) will be conducted in Bokaro district from 12 April to August 9.
In this connection, special camps are being arranged at polling booths on Apriln 12, May 10, June 14, July 12 and August 9 from 10 am to 5 pm, district official informed.
Voters with multiple registrations in the electoral rolls can come forward to delete their names. Corrections for errors in names, age, gender, address and photographs can also be done at the camps to be arranged. They can also submit their Aadhaar card number, telephone number and email id for information on elections, electoral roll.
Voters can submit form 7 for deletion of names in case of multiple entries, form 8 for corrections and forms to submit Aadhaar number to the electoral registration officer or Assistant Electoral Registration Officer. Booth level officers will receive the forms from the voters at these camps
A nation-wide special camp will be organised at all the polling booths on April 12 for collection of Aadhaar data, correction of entries or replacement of photograph in EPIC, said district official.
