On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bokaro, Mukesh Kumar, Eid festival was celebrated today among the migrant labourers and people at all the quarantine Centers in the district. There are a total of 375 quarantine centers in the district, out of which functional 181 quarantine centers, about 6500 migrant laborers and others who have come to the district from other states have been quarantined for 14 days.
During the occasion, amongst all the people sweets and other types of food items were distributed by having quarantine centers sanitized.
At most of the quarantine centers at the panchayat level, Kheer-Puri was distributed along with Sevaiyan to the people. Also at the block level centers, with the initiative of the Zonal Officer and Block Development Officer, Sevaiyan along with different types of dishes were presented among the diaspora. At the district level Centers under the surveillance of SDO Chas and SDO Bermo, following the social distancing different kinds of dishes and Sevaiyan were distributed to the people. In this order, along with milk bread jam Sweets were also provided to the people at the centers. Adding to all Special gifts for women and children were also presented by the officials at several quarantine centers in the district.
