General Manager, East Central Railway, Anupam Sharma today inspected the down receiving yard,
down hump yard and yard of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction (DDU Junction). The GM, who
was on an inspection, also inspected the Wagon Care Center.
This morning, first of all, a thorough inspection of the down receiving yard of DDU Junction was done
by the GM. The General Manager took stock of the SSE room, pathway and other facilities there
including the testing work of wagons of goods trains. Thereafter, he went to the tower located at
Down Hump Yard to observe the humping work and the condition of the wagons present in the yard.
After this, the GM went to the Wagon Care Center and inspected the machines, equipment, facilities
etc available there including the repair and maintenance work of the wagons. A meeting was also
held by the GM in the conference room at the Wagon Care Center with the Divisional Railway
Manager of DDU Division along with other concerned officers and necessary guidelines were given.
During the inspection, DRM of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Division, Rajesh Kumar Pandey, DRM of
Danapur Division Prabhat Kumar and other senior officials were present.
