In a shocking case, even after taking both doses of corona vaccine Block Development Officer, Dumri turned Covid positive. His test reports came positive late on Wednesday evening. This has been confirmed by the BDO himself along with the Block Medical Officer of the area, Rajesh Mahato. According to the information, Dumri BDO had taken both the shots of vaccine doses 25 days earlier.
This is the first case of a beneficiary being infected after taking both doses of the vaccine in Giridih district.
Block office staff are afraid after the BDO was found infected. Here, the medical officer in charge of the Dumri has also said that he is a Covid suspect and may go to Home Isolation.
On Thursday, 11 of the 16 infected persons in the district are from urban area. Among them the families of two infected brothers have also got infected. According to the information, one of them is said to be a municipal employee. Therefore, there is an atmosphere of panic among the employees of the municipal corporation.
After the arrival of new cases on Thursday, the number of active cases in the district has now increased to 23. Significantly, after the month of October last year, so many cases have come together in the district.
